Once upon a time i wrote a birthday post on social media that ended up being the beginning of something ~ something that felt big, something that i needed to express, something that needed to be birthed from this body.
Little did i know that one little birthday post ~ on the heels of a major life-altering pandemic, and its subsequent hangover ~ would open up a surge of creative energy that would lead me to make major changes in my life...and would get me writing ~ something i hadn't done so extensively for many years.
The writing is sporadic, emotional, raw, curious, unfiltered, and true...at least when it was written. It comes in bursts, and then it lies dormant for long stretches. Each piece is its own dance. Maybe it eventually proves itself wrong. Guess i'll wait and see. But it all happens in this body. And it is all about what happens in this body.
